The Meeting of the Administrative Board

The administrative Board of ""Trznica"" company, on a meeting held 16th December,2009, due to the demand of the director, Mr.Radosav Grbic, brought a new decision about his dismissal from the director function. At the same meeting, a decision was brought, about naming the new director-Mr.Dragan Stupar, graduated lawyer from Banjaluka.

Thanks giving day 2009

In a compliance with the tradition Trznica have organized one more Thanks giving on the 9th of Jun 2009. Trznica has been organizing this manifestation for 11 years in order to thank its tenants and buyers, because with them Trznica would not exist.

In order thank to its tenants and to all citizens of Banja Luka, Trznica prepared very good cultural program at the central manifestation which was held at the City market.

Director of Trznica Mr. Radosav Grbic and Mayor of Banja Luka Mr. Dragoljub Davidovic welcomed all visitors. The most important activity during the Thanks giving day is election of the champions of the market. This year the 10th election of the champion was held and except regular categories the champion of the decade was elected. The cultural program was also held at Nova pijaca and election of the best animal.

Trznica did not forget the youngest citizens of Banja Luka and it organized election of the funniest drawing of fruits and vegetables in the children play corner Jabuka. The winners of the contest were declared on the day of manifestation in the children play corner.

Announcement on 10th Shareholder’s assembly

10th Shareholder’s Assembly of Trznica a.d. was held according to the proposed agenda on the 3rd of June, 2009 in the I.L.Ribara Street, 4 Banja Luka.

According to the item 9 on the agenda the Assembly acquired the decision on profit distribution for 2008 which is 3,074,003 KM.

The profit is distributed in the following way:

1. To the shareholders in shares 2.630.584 КМ
2. To the employees 350.000,00 КМ
2. To the manager according to contract 93. 419, 00 КМ

According to the item 10 on the agenda the Assembly acquired decision on the 7th share issue. 2.630.584 shares are emitted in the 7th share issue with the face value of 1 KM, with the total value of 2.630.584 KM. According to the decision on 7th share issue, the articles 16 and 17 of the Statute are changing and the capital of the company is 26.227.899 КМ.

According to the acquired amendment to the agenda the Assembly acquired decision on dismissal of the members of the Managing board and appointing of new members of the Managing board.

Trznica a.d. Banja Luka participated at the World Union of Wholesale Market conference in Prague

Trznica a.d. as a member of the World Union of Wholesale Market participated at the conference of the Union which was held in Prague from 19.5. to 22.5.2009. The topic of the conference was modernization of markets and it could be seen that Trznica a.d. develop itself as same as markets all around the world. Trznica has received certificate of standard ISO 14 001-2004

On the 6th of April 2009, Trznica has receives the certificate of international standard ISO 14001-2004 System of management of environment protection. The certificate was handed by the director of TUV Rheinland Mr. Geza Cajko. The main reasons of the standard implementation are the protection of health and environment, costs decrease, integration of economic and ecological interests, satisfaction of consumers and coordination to the EU legislation. The main goal of the company is to maintain leadership in the offer of healthy and fresh domestic products, because the long term orientation of Trznica is tradition, health and quality in the healthy environment.

The second prize for the most important investment is awarded to Trznica

The Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Srpska has organized the election of the most successful companies in Republic of Srpska. At the award giving ceremony, that was held on the 25th of March 2009, Trznica a.d. has received the second prize for the most important investment. The president of the Chamber of Commerce Mr. Borko Djuric has handed the prize to the general manager of Trznica Mr. Radosav Grbic.

Prize for quality

TuV Rheinland Company gave its annual prize for qulaity to the Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Srpska and to the comapny Trznica. The Chamber of Commerce got the prize in the category of partners for the region of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Company Trznica got the prize in the category of certified companies by TuV Rheinland for the achieved results in the quality management development. Award giving ceremony was held on the 22nd of December, 2008. in the Chamber of Commerce.

The awards were handed by general manager of TuV Rheinland for South-East Europe Geza Cajko. Representatives of Ministry of Commerce and Tourism and Ministry of Economic Affairs were present at the award giving ceremony.

Opening of the object of Trznica in Istocno Novo Sarajevo

The object of Trznica in Istocno Novo Sarajevo was opened on the 26th of December 2008. At the opening ceremony Minister of Labor, Counselor of the Prime Minister of Government of Republic of Srpska and the Mayor of Istocno Novo Sarajevo were present. A lot of representatives of political and social life of Istocno Novo Sarajevo were present too. The object was sanctified by Metropolitan Nikolaj.

The surface of the object is 5433.65 square meters , 1633 square meters is the surface of the closed part of the object and 1004 square meters is the surface of the part for sale of fruit and vegetables. Trznica a.d. invested over 4 750 000 KM in the construction of this object. The Municipality Istocno Novo Sarajevo as a partner invested 550 000 KM. The opening of this object is of great importance for both Trznica a.d. and Municipality Istocno Novo Sarajevo.

Visit of World Bank representatives

On the 3rd of December representatives of World Bank and Banja Luka Stock exchange visited Trznica a.d. The reason of the visit was the project of the World Bank on corporate governance which is done in cooperation with Sarajevo and Banja Luka Stock exchange.

Banja Luka Stock exchange stated that Trznica was good example of corporate governance in Republic of Srpska. The representatives of World Bank confirmed that and they were also positively surprised when they saw the object of the City Market and business results of the company.

Trznica a.d. announces that the fourth Extraordinary Shareholder’s Assembly was held on the 8th of October at 3.00 PM in Banja Luka.

I.L.Ribara street,4. At the Assembly 3rd Special Shareholders Assembly report was acquired. The decision on dismissal of Managing board is acquired. Appointed members of the managing board are:

The decision on dismissal of the members of Supervisory board is not acquired. The decision on change of the Articles 56, 85 and 91 of the Statute is not acquired.

Biologica Fair

Embassy of Greece in Bosnia and Herzegovina invited Trznica a.d. and several companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina to visit fair of organic food and eco packaging Biologica that was held from 29.05. to 01.06.2008. in Thessaloniki for the first time.

Because Trznica is mainly used for sale of food products experience of Greek exibitors was very useful for our tenants who produce their own fruit and vegetables.

Children`s play-room "the Apple" opened in The City Market

The City market Banja Luka has opened children`s play-room "the Apple"on the 20th of February. There was special children`s programme at the opening ceremony. The participants were one group from the kindergarten Radost and Nasa Djeca. 14 years old poet Nevena Stosic and two 14 years old singers Dunja Cadzo and Natalija Ucur. The idea for the opening of the play-room came from understanding of parents who have business in the centre of town and they have no one to take care of thier child, of cousre all childern who want good entertaining are welcome.

There is a phone in the play-room and a parent in every moment can get information about his child. The price is formed according to average income of the people in our town, so the first hour is free of charge and second hour is 3 KM.The snack is included in price. The fact which makes a difference among play-room „ the Apple" and the other play-rooms is that the snack is consited of healthy food. Play-room "the Apple" also organizes children birhtday parties.
