Message of the General Manager

Dear friends,

I wish to all of us a succesful work,and an Internet page that will be contained of various content,which will allow us to develop our brand,for which we are famous in our country,but also in the world.

I have to admit that it wasn’t easy to accept the function of the director of such a succesful company.

Excellent tradition over decades and centuries,and the improvement of service qualities in the last two decades,when the director of the company was Mr.Radosav Grbic,are definitely the facts that deserve respect.Unpleasant events in and about the company which conditioned a slight decreasing of the company’s reputation concerned me,but at the same time they made me say to myself "The winner sees a passable trail even through sand,and the loser sees only the sand on every trail." With faith,I decided-"Maybe it’s hard,but it’s possible!"The moment I accepted the job of director,I said to my associates:BE A WINNER!

Knowing all the possibilities and neccesities of our City Market and the New market,even the potentional district county markets,and their importance for the whole imig of the company and the city’s identity,I don’t doubt their future and our knowledge,will and effort to ensure it.We are sure that Trznica has a real and justified development strategy,even though our city has a trand of establishing new,modern supermarkets.As the matter of fact,the great expansion of local and foreign marketing firms that has been happening in Banjaluka and Bosnia and Herzegovina for the last ten years,with smaller prices local merchants can’t compete with,have brought to a stagnation,and decreasing of merchandise value.Fast life tempo makes the situation even worse,because it doesn’t leave enough time for traditional forms of shopping and supplying households with food and other neccesities.

Our Trznica has stayed the source of home-made products,even though it had to face the competition mentioned above. That fact brings the real meaning and sense to the Market ,and that is”That is the only place in town where you can buy fresh home-made products,season fruit,vegetables,products of agriculture,fresh chees,butter and cream,high quality fish,eggs and meat,healthy natural products,even some of the products we remember from our grandmas’ tales…The effect of Mercandise and shopping Law was creating a healthy salesmen-shopper relations,supporting competing between the salesmen,and encouraging the shopper’s wish for bying cheaper,but quality products.

"Trznica" is not the user of budget means,and that detail enables that our company solves many issues more efficiantly.Even though it maybe sounds pretentious,our Trznica is a place where the citizens get a real "feeling" of the town.It has a very important position in the city’s history.Maybe it can’t compete with other city’s institutions like the Police,Church,Municipality…but when it comes to development of our town,it is the most important,without any doubt.

When we are speaking about the touristic offfers of Banja Luka,then our Trznica with it’s new appereance,as a "little town inside our town’,has become a first class touristic destination that is visited by tourists and visitors during the entire year.The organization,business quality,development and using the newest technologies,are entirely following the international standard system ISO 9001:2000 from the year 2005.In the year of 2008,we won the certificate for Saving the environment managing system ISO 14001:2004,and confirmed that we are beyond the competition.

We stand for health,tradition and quality in a healthy environment.

The succesful work of "Trznica" is crowned by modern new space in Banjaluka,with over 200 employees,and by building a new,modern facility in East Sarajevo.Using that model and new possibilities for public privat partnership,we are planning to build a three-etage garage with 650 parking places,next to the Market.The partner in this project is the Municipal Assembly of Banjaluka.

The companies that have the continuity of more that 80 years are a rarity today.Therefore,it is understandable that the "Trznica" stock company in Banjaluka keeps improving their functions,and finding the system for permanent progress,and survival on this politicaly and economicaly unstable teritory.
