International Award "Leader in Business Tradition and Quality 2008"

Spanish magazine of tourism, industry and commerce ACTUALIDAD, which selection committee of award giving to companies in South-Eastern Europe, has decided to grant International Award "Leader in Business Tradition and Quality 2008" to Trznica a.d. Banja Luka.

Award giving ceremony was held in Warsaw on the 18th of October.

This award recognizes the merits of the leader of the company and his associates, who with their dedication, professionalism and efforts, maintained to keep the company in an outstanding position within business sector, creating richness and job opportunities in their surrounding.

Trznica a.d. announces that the fourth Extraordinary Shareholder’s Assembly was held on the 8th of October at 3.00 PM in Banja Luka.

I.L.Ribara street,4. At the Assembly 3rd Special Shareholders Assembly report was acquired. The decision on dismissal of Managing board is acquired. Appointed members of the managing board are:

AGROS 2008

Trznica a.d. participated at the Fair of agriculture and nutrition, which was held in banja Luka from 10.9. till 14.9.2008.

At the Fair Trznica a.d. presented its users, producers of fruit, vegetables, milk and milk products, except its users at The Fair was presented department of commerce and restaurant management of this company.

At the Fair closing ceremony the champion cup for the organized participation at the fair was awarded to Trznica a.d.

Special first award for super brand

The Agency for election and promotions of managers in Bosnia and Herzegovina and South Eastern Europe gave to Trznica a.d. the special first award for super brand for the quality of work.

Trznica a.d., which was one of the six companies that were nominated for this award, gained recognition for the best company in the European chain of markets.

At award giving ceremony, which was held on June 3, in Sarajevo general manager of Trznica Radosav Grbic received the award on behalf of the company.

Thanks Giving Day 2008

On the 16th and 17th of June the 10th manifestation Thanks giving day was held at Trznica. Trznica uses this manifestation to thank its tenants and all citizens of Banja Luka, because without them Trznica would not exist.

Biologica Fair

Embassy of Greece in Bosnia and Herzegovina invited Trznica a.d. and several companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina to visit fair of organic food and eco packaging Biologica that was held from 29.05. to 01.06.2008. in Thessaloniki for the first time.

Because Trznica is mainly used for sale of food products experience of Greek exibitors was very useful for our tenants who produce their own fruit and vegetables.

Announcement on the second special shareholder`s assembly

Trznica a.d. announces that the second special Shareholder`s Assembly that was scheduled for the 12th of June, 2008 was not held because the lack of necessary number of shareholders. The third special Assembly will be scheduled by the Board of directors in legal period.

Municipality Istocno Novo Sarajevo awarded Trznica a.d.

On the 5th of June, 2008 Trznica a.d. has received the recognition of the Town of Istocno Novo Sarajevo. The recognition is received because Trznica a.d. through its investments develops the Municipality Istocno Novo Sarajevo and in that way connects Eastern and Western part of Republic of Srpska.

Information on the ninth Assembly of Shareholders

Shareholder`s company Trznica Banja Luka started the 9th Assembly of shareholders according to scheduled date (the 30th of April, 2008 at 6.00 PM).

The Assembly had the requested number of present shareholders for its beginning and the four items on the agenda were acquired.

During the fifth item on the agenda ( report on the work of Supervisory board) certain number of the shareholders left the Assembly because they were unsatisfied because the fourth item on the agenda was acquired.

After their leaving the credentials committee stated that there was not required number of present shareholders to continue the Assembly.

Afterwards the Chairman dismissed the Assembly.

The ninth Assembly of Shareholders

Trznica a.d. Banja Luka announces that the ninth Assembly of Shareholders will be held on the 30th of April 2008 at 06.00 PM in Banja Luka in I.L.Ribara Street 4, in the saloon of Trznica on the third floor. Among other reports at the agenda will be discussed:

• decision on the arrangement of the profit for the year of 2007

The first prize for the best company in the category of commerce

The Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Srpska organized the contest for the best company in 2007. The best companies are chosen in 13 categories. Trznica a.d. won the first prize in the category of commerce. At the awards giving ceremony, which was held on the 28th of March in Banski dvor, the prize was given to the director of Trznica a.d. by Minister of Commerce of Republic of Srpska. This is one more proof of constant success and development of this company.

The second phase of construction

On the 12th of March director of Trznica s.c. with his associates visited the construction field of the market in Istocno Novo Sarajevo. The second phase of works is agreed, although works are late for objective reasons the construction company will try to finish works on time. The project was estimated on 3 000 000 KM, but because of the expansion of the surface of the object the price of the project will increase.

Prize for Corporate Social Responsibility

On the 7th of March Trznica has won the second prize for Corporate Social Responsibility in the category of small and medium enterprizes. The awards have been given by the Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Srpska. The aim of the project Corporate Social Responsibility is inclusion of as biggest number of enterpirzes as possible in the activities of social responsibilities.

Children`s play-room "the Apple" opened in The City Market

The City market Banja Luka has opened children`s play-room "the Apple"on the 20th of February. There was special children`s programme at the opening ceremony. The participants were one group from the kindergarten Radost and Nasa Djeca. 14 years old poet Nevena Stosic and two 14 years old singers Dunja Cadzo and Natalija Ucur. The idea for the opening of the play-room came from understanding of parents who have business in the centre of town and they have no one to take care of thier child, of cousre all childern who want good entertaining are welcome.

There is a phone in the play-room and a parent in every moment can get information about his child. The price is formed according to average income of the people in our town, so the first hour is free of charge and second hour is 3 KM.The snack is included in price. The fact which makes a difference among play-room „ the Apple" and the other play-rooms is that the snack is consited of healthy food. Play-room "the Apple" also organizes children birhtday parties.

Winter caused delay of the construction

General Manager of Trznica a.d. Banja Luka Mr. Radosav Grbic with his associates visited the construction field of the market in Istocno Novo Sarajevo in early February.

Because of the very bad weather in November, December and one part of January there were certain delays of the construction during those months. General Manager and co-owner of the company Unigrad Mr. Dragan Kulina on behalf of his employees promised really hard effort in the proceeding period. If any surprises would not occur the object might be opened on the 5th of June.

The Prime Minister visited Trznica

General Manager and management of Trznica had the great honor and pleasure to host the Prime Minister Milorad Dodik on the 25th of December. After he had exchanged greetings with traders and producers at the market, Mr.Dodik participated at the reception in the saloon of Trznica.

Mr. Dodik expressed admiration to the General Manager and management of the company for successfully completed reconstruction of the object and he stated that the market in Banja Luka is more modern and functional then markets in much bigger cities and the town like Banja Luka should be proud of that fact.

Grand prix ANUBIH has been awarded to the architects Dalibor Bjelica and Branislav Stojanovic

Grand prix ANUBIH for life work in architecture was given to the architects Dalibor Bjelica and Branislav Stojanovic. This prize was given to the most successful architectural accomplishments in Bosnia and Herzegovina in period 2006-2007. The prize was given to Mr. Bjelica and Mr. Stojanovic for object of City Market in Banja Luka, which was considered for the object of great space and shape values. The City Market is great object by its shape and content, placed in the center of the town.

Mr. Radosav Grbic has been awarded with Award for the life work

Traditional manifestation the best manager was held in cultural center Banski dvor in Banja Luka on the 14th of December. At this ceremony the independent jury for the selection of the best manager of BiH and European association of managers promoted the best managers and important persons from commerce on BiH for the year of 2007. Special place and importance at this manifestation belonged to the awards for the life work. One of the winners of this award was Mr. Radosav Grbic the general manager of Trznica a.d. A lot of important persons from cultural and political life were present at the ceremony. Special congratulations to laureas were expressed by co-president of the Parlament of BiH Mr. Nebojsa Rdamanovic. The speech was held by the wise president of the government of Republic of Srpska Mr. Antun Kasipovic and by Mr. Radosav Grbic on behalf of the winners.

The big success of Trznica s.c. Banja Luka

On the 25th of November, 2007 at the World Fair of Innovations and New Technologies Eureka- Brussels Trznica s.c. with the general manager Radosav Grbic gained the big success. Mr. Grbic is declared for visionary of the market section and he got the medal of the third rank for creation.

The ceremony of the medal giving was held at the City hall of St. Josse and the medal was given by the Mayor Fredy Tilmans. At the ceremony the ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Nikola Radovanovic was present. At the final ceremony the trophy and gold medal for the trade mark were given to Mr. Grbic by Jury Skomorovski on behalf of the international jury of the fair.

Тhe construction of the market in Lukavica started

"Trznica" a.d. Banja Luka announces that the realisation of the project – the construction of the market in Lukavica has started on the 8th of November 2007. This event started with setting up of the cornerstone, where delegation of "Trznica" a.d., the mayor of Istočno Novo Sarajevo and the president of Municipality of Lukavica were present. The cornerstone was set up by the mayor of Istocno Novo Sarajevo and the presidents of Мanaging and Supervisory board of "Trznica" a.d.

The elevator

Trznica a.d. announces that on the 29th of October 2007 the elevator at the City market started to work. The elevator is for person with disabilities and it is also adapted to the blind. The elevator is also for mothers with children, old and sick persons. Trznica a.d. cares for all citizens of Banja Luka and also for other visitors of the market. The management of the Market wants to make the visit to the City market as pleasant as possible.

International Award for prestige and quality 2007

"Actualidad", the Spanish Magazine for tourism, industry and commerce, that is distribuated in 80 countries, gave to "Trznica" Banja Luka the International Award for prestige and quality 2007. The award is given every year. This year the award giving ceremony was held in Bucharest.

16th meeting of the Board of directors of Trznica

We want to inform you that the 16th meeting of the Board of directors of Trznica a.d. is held on the 3rd of October, 2007 at 13.00 with the following schedule:

1. acquiring of the minutes of the 15th meeting of the Board of directors
2. the proposition of the operative program for realisation of the measures of business policy in the period of 01.01.2005. - 31.12.2007.
3. information on the realisation of the project and long-term program development

One of the most important sections is the new operative program for creation of the new company organisation. It will be active from 01.01.2008. According to that the present organisation should be replaced with division to profit and logistic centers.

The profit centers would be: the City market, New market, market and shops number 9 and 11 in Kotor Varos, retail, wholesale and restaurants.

Logistic centers would be: department of economic affairs, marketing department, department of service offering, personnel department and department of legal and general affairs, department of bookkeeping and accountacy, analysis and processing of shipping-financial documents.

The construction of the garage at Trznica

The Mayor of Banja Luka Dragoljub Davidovic and the general manager of Trznica a.d. on the 25th of September 2007 signed the contract on public-private partnership as a model of financing of the construction of the garage at Trznica a.d. The city of Banja Luka invests the ground where the garage is planned by regulative plan.

Trznica a.d. invests the means for the project documentation and the construction and equipment of the garage. The garage will operate as a part of Trznica a.d. with special evidence of income and outcome.

Human gesture of the employee in Trznica Perica Filipic

In early September Perica Filipic the employee in Trznica has found the winning cork of Nektar beer. The prize was in the amount of 100 km. Mr. Filipic decided to give his prize to the Home for children without parents. He informed the general manager about his decision and the general manger decided to join in with the amount of 500 km. When the management of the Brewery was informed about this, they also decided to join in together with the marketing agency Aquarius and sports shop Juventa. On the 26th of September Mr. Filipic together with representatives of the City market, Brewery and Aquarius agency donated to the children the snicker with value of 2000 km. This day was very symbolic for Mr. Filipic because his third son was born on that day.

Delegation of Trznica at the congress in China

Delegation of Trznica a.d. participated at the 25th congress of the World Union of Wholesale Markets that was held in Beijing, China ( 3.9.-7.9).

The main of the congress was cooperation between wholesale and retail market in order to achieve competitive advantages, the role of management of modern markets for promotion, new development in information exchange.

Because WUWM is the association that promotes markets all over the world, delegation of Trznica a.d. used the opportunity to promote its film and multi medial CD on reconstruction and 80th anniversary. All colleagues were very interested in the work of Trznica a.d. Banja Luka.

"AGROS 2007" – The champions of the quality

Trznica a.d. participated at the 11th International Fair of Agriculture and Food Industry AGROS 2007 which was held in Banja Luka ( 7.9.-11.9.) At the fair Trznica a.d. was declared for the champion of the quality.

On the 26th of July the general manger of Trznica a.d. Radosav Grbic in Eastern Sarajevo signed the contract on public-private partnership as a model of financing of the new market building in Lukavica.

Golden medallion to Nebojsa radmanovic, the member of the Presidency of BiH

Nebojsa Radmanovic contributed to the development of Trznica a.d. especially when he was the president of the executive council of Banja Luka. Then, it was acquired the long-term development program of Trznica a.d. According to that program this company works and develops itself even today. His contribution was the declaration of the group that consisted of the people from the executive council of Trznica and Bureau of Urbanism and their task was to create the study of the development of Trznica.
